Drillin holes, fuck it, two weeks left

So we come to our last track race of the season this Sunday at Yale in New Haven, CONNECTICUT! Your's truly will be running in the 800. I'm feeling pretty good about running sub 2:05 especially after yesterdays workout. I not only felt fast but I felt strong as well, something I had been missing throughout the year. Tom and Steph are also running the 800 while Matt will be running the 400 and Khia (HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY!) will be running the 200. Katie will be running the 3k while the rest of the distance crew is running the 5k for the final time this season. Also it looks like we will be getting the best weather we've had all season with the highs expected to be in the 80s for Sunday. This can work as a positive and a negative because with the heat it won't take long at all for our muscles to get warmed up. However this is the first time we've run in warm running since last September so I might take a little while to get adjusted to the weather change. If anything it won't be that big of an obstacle. Hopefully it'll work for us than against us and we can all put down some big PRs on Sunday. Also I want to let everyone know to check out Owen's new blog xc-thecollegelife.blogspot.com. This blog also focuses on the team as well but gets more into our lives outside of running. I'm hoping that our two blogs could parallel to each other so you can get to know us better not just as runners but also people.

Until next time,
Robbie
